Lately, I've been noticing how I've been surrounded by children. I walk through the WSC to see girls in piggy tails, boys with ice cream cones that seem nearly as large as they are, babies exploring laminated hallways, grandparents bouncing soft swaddling blankets. Kids winning races, negotiating activities. Making me smile and laugh. Now the activity is coming to me.
Amelia's announcement came first. Followed by Miranda, Stephanie [Peterson] Williams, and, lastly, to the family's delight, Sherise. Then came the waiting of finding out what everyone was having. This year, I think, is the year of babies. Specifically of boy babies. Yep, thus far, Miranda is the only one having a boy. What does this mean? My baby sitting days are going to be filled with little men, long lashes, little blue hats, and vroom vrooms.
Can I say I'm excited? Two nephews, one niece, and one adopted nephew (who probably doesn't need any more aunts, but, well, he, and his parents, don't have much of a choice. :) Sorry Steph.)
I think that you meant that Miranda is having a girl.
